Fads don’t last. Time will tell. Let’s just hope they don’t do anything truly silly (like, if a department store were to stop selling incandescent light bulbs only to substitute them mostly with compact fluorescent lamps containing mercury)

Has “green” become so fashionable that journalists have to run like headless chickens from one big announcement to another?

One wonders.

Perhaps it is time for projects to be reported _after_ they succeed (or fail) and not at the inaugural, content-free photo-op
